Static image ads – flat images, usually in jpeg format – are by far the most common format for PPC ads, but that’s not nearly the limit.
We can also serve video ads in a couple of different ways. Banner creatives which can display video can be placed on sites on the Google Display Network, and play beside content.

Animated image ads – typically in .gif or HTML5 format – can increase engagement by catching the user’s eye. By cycling through various panes to animate the image, you can also include more information within the same ad space.
Alternatively, you can use the True-View style, where video ads are served directly to the user within YouTube, or any other third party GDN site.
